Blessings Today!

Lent is the 40-day period leading up to Easter, (excluding Sundays) that starts on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday, the day before Easter Sunday Service. It started March 5th, 2025 of this year. At Abundant Season, we celebrate Easter on Holy Saturday 11:00 am and Friday, (Good Friday), and our Passover Meal Service, 6:30 pm.

It is time to give up something within this timeframe starting now. During Ros Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we discussed in detail repentance, forgiveness, and apologies and the power that comes with this action. At bible study on Tuesday, March 18th, 6:30 pm, we will talk about why this is very significant prior to Easter weekend; and, as we go into April preparing for the Holy Season, which includes preparing for communion and Passover meal, April 18th and church services April 19th for Easter weekend.

It is time to reflect, not deflect or ignore, but rise as Christ is risen.
