🚨 Due to maintenance repairs, East Dayton Health Center will be closed for one month until July 2026. All appointments will be moved to our Corwin Nixon or Charles Drew health center locations.

Our dental office at East Dayton remains fully operational at this time.

Please join us in welcoming Bola Adegbile, DNP, FNP-BC, as a family medicine provider with First Flight Health Centers!

Bola holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She has several years of clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including urgent care and long-term care. Her clinical background includes primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management. She regularly participates in continuing education to stay current with evidence-based practices.

She was drawn to primary care to build long-term relationships with patients and support wellness across all stages of life. Patient education and empowerment are central to her work, and becoming a nurse practitioner allowed her to take a more active role in diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care.

Her approach is patient-centered and holistic, with an emphasis on treating the whole person. She prioritizes active listening, shared decision-making, and open communication to help patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, hiking, gardening, reading, and trying new recipes. She values staying active and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

We are excited to welcome Diane Davis-Harrison, as a Dental Hygienist with First Flight Health Centers (formerly Community Health Centers of Greater Dayton)!

Diane has more than 30 years of experience in private practice as a dental hygienist. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Sinclair Community College and holds certifications in nitrous oxide administration and local anesthesia.

She began her career in dental care at the Miami Valley Career Technology Center (formerly JVS), studying dental laboratory technology before pursuing dental assisting through night school. After gaining experience working with an orthodontist, she went on to further her education in dental hygiene, returning to school 10 years after graduating high school.

Diane is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She believes in listening closely to her patients and treating each individual with the same level of care and respect she would want for her own family.

Outside of work, she enjoys training and competing with her dogs in agility and nosework. She has been actively involved in dog training and trialing for over 20 years and currently has two Australian Shepherds.

Over the coming months, you’ll begin to see our new name and brand reflected across our marketing materials, website, and health center signage. While our look is changing, our commitment to the Dayton community and our patients remains the same.

Mammograms are often covered by Medicaid and other insurance plans. If you're concerned about cost, we have resources to help. Here are two upcoming opportunities for appointments on the mobile mammography unit:

Tulips are blooming, and it finally feels like spring! 🌷

Spending time outside is a great way to be physically active, reduce stress, and get vitamin D. You can work and play outside without raising your skin cancer risk by protecting your skin from the sun.

Most skin cancers are caused by too much exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. Over time, the invisible UV light can damage skin cells.

Sun protection matters all year, not just in summer. UV rays can still reach your skin on cool or cloudy days, and they can reflect off surfaces like water, cement, sand, and even snow.

Here's a few sun‑smart habits to keep in mind this time of year:

🔆 Use sunscreen on exposed skin, even on mild spring days
🔆 Be mindful of mid‑day sun, when UV rays are strongest
🔆 Wear protective clothing like hats, sunglasses, or lightweight layers
🔆 Use shade from trees, umbrellas, or covered areas
