It's going down at Burwood....

The 6th annual preseason stoke party you have been waiting for is finally here! We'll have Burwood's Foggy Goggles Hazy IPA, the WTF Food Truck, and a bunch of different raffle prizes up for grabs!

So put on the craziest goggles you have and come on out to support Bluewood's Ski Patrol! All raffle ticket proceeds and donations go to support our Patrol!

New event January 13, 2024: ❄️ South Side Snow Day! ❄️

Dust off those leg warmers, tease up that hair, and don't forget those flashy ski suits! We're bringing the fun of the '80s back with a ski lodge atmosphere, complete with snow machines, retro music and of course, wine & food!

The Southside Wine District in partnership with Walla Walla Valley Wine is coming together at Yellowhawk Resort from 10am-3pm for a fun-filled day of winter & wine festivities. Activities include snowshoeing through the vineyard, wine tasting, a handcrafted soup bar, a bonfire pit to make s’mores, a hot cocoa bar, & playing in the snow.

Walla Walla! There is a FREE Avalanche Awareness presentation tomorrow (Wed Nov 29th) @ 6 PM at the Olin Auditorium on Whitman College’s campus.

WAC forecaster Michael Hatch will be hosting the event, and we encourage both Motorized and Non-Motorized recreationists to attend.

Get prepared for the upcoming season and attend this presentation!

Shown here are the new Avalanche packs with shovels, probes, beacons, and headlamps for quick deployment in actual occasions as well as our routine mitigation work. Special thanks to Jennifer and David at Burwood for hosting this event to benefit the Patrol.

Bluewood + Burwood = Blurwood

This Saturday (11/19) we have the 4th annual Blurwood Party! This will be an event you don't want to miss. We will have some of the guys and gals from the Bluewood Ski Patrol so come out and show your support. They are a fun group! This party is a fundraiser for the Bluewood Ski Patrol. Burwood will be donating $1 for every Foggy Goggles beer glass to Ski Patrol, through the end of the year. Party starts at 5 till close.

Here is all the details:

2pm: taproom opens & Foggy Goggles will be on tap
4pm: for yummy food & for hot chocolate, tea and apple cider
5pm: event kicks off
6/6:30pm: start raffling off items (must be present to win)
8:30/8:45pm: big ticket raffles drawn (do not need to be present to win)

Other things going on.
Selah MGMT will be outside to wax your skis/boards (donation)
Fire pits & patio heaters will be out and keeping you warm
Plenty of seating inside the taproom & brewery to also keep you warm.

Bluewood and Bluewood Ski Patrol send our sincere thanks for all helping to raise funds for one of our own. Before he put on the uniform of WSP, he was on the Bluewood Ski Patrol. They took him away, but he will always be a part of our family. Help with your participation, making a donation or bidding on the many options. We will be adding a single season pass for the 2022-23 season to honor Jr.
May you have a quick recovery Jr, and we will see you on the mountain.
