One week away from our annual Cancer Survivors Day Celebration! It's next Friday, June 5th and features a symposium, cancer walk, raffle and vendor fair. It will take place from 10am-2pm in building 305 on campus. All cancer survivors are invited.

Stay healthy this BBQ season with these food safety tips :

⏰ Don’t leave food out for more than 2 hours.

🧊 Refrigerate leftovers right away so that the internal temperature reaches 41°F or below within 6 hours.

🚫 Don’t take chances with your health! If you don’t know how long food has been sitting around, toss it out.

Director Jennifer DeFrancesco was a speaker at the Huber Heights Memorial Day Wreath Laying Ceremony. She talked about the importance of remembering our fallen military men and women. Dozens attended the community event at Tom Cloud Park. The ceremony was put on by the Huber Heights Military and Veterans Commission.

A beautiful day for the annual Memorial Day ceremony at Dayton National Cemetery today. Many came out for the solemn ceremony to pay tribute, honor and respect for those who served in the military and died for our country. The keynote speaker was retired Air Force Major General Todd Stewart. A wreath was placed for each branch of service and Gold Star Father James White, Sr. place a gold wreath for his 19-year-old son James White, Jr. who died in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. Dayton VA Director Jennifer DeFrancesco and Associate Director Brian Hays also attended the ceremony.
