Meli, a bilingual licensed professional counselor, invites you to join her for a guided Summer Vision Board to think about these questions and more. Time is precious, a tool we can use to make the most of our lives, whether we spend it with ourselves or with others. To make the most of our time this summer, join us in an evening or afternoon of interactive music making (no experience required) following by creative Vision Board making to envision how you want to spend your extra summer hours.

FREE FUN! Bring your mom! All ages welcome. No special skills needed. This Sunday, May 11th, The Growing Space be hosting a facilitated drum circle in partnership with the Staunton-Augusta YMCA.

Join the fun and visit the YMCA's new outdoor recreation area! We'll have a pavilion and instruments to share, but bring chairs if you can.

Women's Drum Circle Sunday March 23. 3 to 4 pm.
Come celebrate Women's History Month at the The Growing Space Dayton, VA Come drum in community with other women. Bring your friend, your daughters, and your granddaughters for an interactive music making event. Ages 12 to 102!
No experience needed. All instruments provided.

There is so much stress and anxiety these days! Calm and sooth these feelings through facilitated interactive music making! This weekend at the Growing Space in Dayton VA. No skills or experience needed. Instruments will be provided. All are welcome. See specific day and times below for specific age groups. Space is limited so please RSVP.

Adults ages 18+: Friday Feb 21 6:30-8:30 Pay as you will.

Family Ages 8+: Saturday, Feb 22 5:30-7:30, Pay as you will and

Social Workers, DSS Workers, Mental Health Workers come for free on Sunday, Feb 23 1:30-3:30

We will use few words and be guided through some intentional drumming and mindful music making with percussion. There will be a short break between drumming and percussive music making sets.
This is an interactive workshop that will help you process a little stress, reset your nervous system, and help with internal regulation.

DR Bruce Perry, senior fellow of the Child Trauma Academy in Houston is a big proponent of drumming and rhythmic regulation to help calm the brain stem which then helps us calm our emotions and other parts of our nervous system.
