Ag Rescue registration is now open!

Agriculture is the backbone of the Midwest, but it also carries risks for the people who work it and the responders who answer the call.

More than 60% of farm-related fatalities occur in the Midwest, and Ohio continues to rank among the top states for agricultural injuries and deaths.

These incidents don’t happen on paved streets or well-lit parking lots. They can happen miles outside of the city, around heavy equipment, in dynamic environments that can require a different skill set than the typical suburban calls.

Rural departments are often working with limited staffing, longer response times, and specific hazards. That reality requires training that reflects agricultural response.

Ag Rescue registration is now open.

Crash Course Weekend pit scenarios have been released

We keep the bread and butter scenarios that are common in the real world. The ones that build strong fundamentals and sound decision-making under pressure.

Alongside those, we introduce new scenarios that challenge crews to adapt, communicate, and solve problems they may not have encountered before.

The goal is balance. Reinforcing the skills that matter while continuing to push students to think, adjust, and perform when conditions change.

That’s why Crash Course Village is partnering with Montgomery County Farm Bureau for this Ag Rescue class. Farm Bureau members are connected directly to the day-to-day realities of modern agricultural work, from the equipment being used to the conditions responders are walking into when something goes wrong.

Their involvement helps keep this training grounded in real operations, real hazards, and real decision points that firefighters and first responders face in rural areas. It closes the gap between how incidents are taught and how they actually unfold.

Clarity in Conflict is a one-day, heads-on course built for fire officers who are tired of avoiding hard conversations or watching small issues turn into big ones.

This is a scenario-driven training that gives you a clear, repeatable way to handle conflict, coach your people, and hold the line without blowing things up.

If you lead a crew, this is about learning how to say what needs to be said, with control, confidence, and purpose, when it matters.

Not every rope rescue happens in an urban setting.
Link in the comments 👇

This Operations-level course introduces firefighters to the fundamentals of rope rescue in steep and high-angle terrain, following NFPA 1006 (2017) Operations Level. It is built as an entry point for firefighters who want a solid, usable foundation and a better understanding of how and why rope systems work.

Students will be introduced to rope types and hardware, knots, anchors, basic mechanical advantage systems, belays, and patient packaging. The same curriculum is taught in both Urban and Wilderness settings, with the wilderness option held in the Hocking Hills to reflect real-world access challenges.

No prerequisites. If rope rescue is new or needs a stronger foundation, this is a good place to start.
