Dr. Caroline Peterson has devoted over 35 years of her life to her patients in Dayton, Ohio. She has had the privilege of taking care of multiple generations of patients in both obstetrics and gynecology. One year ago, Dr. Peterson filed a lawsuit against Kettering Health Network and multiple individuals alleging targeted behavior against her that violated federal and state law. Last Friday, Kettering immediately placed Dr. Peterson on a leave of absence, which has caused difficulty in communicating with patients. During this time, Dr. Peterson is not able to access her office locations, patient medical records, patient contact information, or her staff in an effort to responsibly transfer care or respond to patient inquiries.
Dr. Peterson takes patient care very seriously and is truly disheartened that her patients have been affected by these events. Dr. Peterson wants to ensure that her patients feel supported and have the access to the continued care that they need and deserve. To that end, she is working on establishing a number for patients to contact so that she can communicate with her patients.
In the event of an emergency or for an urgent need, please call 9-1-1 or go directly to the closest emergency room. If you are in your third trimester or scheduled for an induction or c-section, please contact your primary care physician to identify an obstetrician who can assist you and contact that obstetrician immediately to schedule an appointment. If you are an established patient with an established plan of care (obstetrical or gynecological), please contact your primary care physician to identify the appropriate specialist to whom you should temporarily transfer your care.
