Practice Considerations for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (3rd edition) is a comprehensive textbook for all nurse practitioners and advanced practice nurses working in acute care. Organized in both a systems and specialty-topics approach, the text features over 360 of the most common conditions experienced by adult patients in acute care practice.

Using a reader-friendly outline format, coverage of each condition includes defining terms, incidence/predisposing factors, subjective and physical examination findings, diagnostic tests, and the latest evidence-based management guidelines and strategies. This text is a go-to resource for everyday practice, as well as for those preparing for national certification or re-certification.
