A study of 2,449 Chicago-area men and women that began all the way back in 1993 has recently revealed findings that a healthy lifestyle can increase life expectancy by as much as 3 years for women and 6 years for men! A key focus of the study was Alzheimer’s dementia and it found that healthy lifestyle was also consistent with a higher number of later-life years without the degenerative brain disorder.
