Mindy! ♥️ She sees clients on FRIDAYS. And she is a joy! Her booking system is still being set up, but interested folks can always email her (see her webpage on our linktree) to get on her table.

From her bio:

“With over eight years of experience as a licensed massage therapist, Mindy Kriegbaum is dedicated to helping clients restore balance, release tension, and reconnect with their bodies. Her work blends science, skill, and compassion to create a deeply restorative experience. Using a slow, steady approach combined with stretching, muscle energy technique, and DermoNeuroModulation (DNM), she helps clients release muscle tension while supporting long-term nervous system regulation.

Mindy is certified in DNM, a gentle yet powerful method that works with the parasympathetic nervous system. This approach helps the body shift from ‘fight or flight’ into a state of rest and relaxation—where true healing can begin.”

Bumping this post because it is so important!

Alex Weiss, LMT is contracted with the VA to offer massage for veterans.

How it works:
VA patients can ask their physician for a referral for massage. When they receive that referral, the VA’s community care team will call the patient and ask if they have a preference for providers, among other questions. They can specify Alexandria Weiss, LMT, the VA will send her the referral, and Alex will contact the patient to set up their first appointment. The VA will completely cover services if that referral is there.

Alex says, “The VA will send their internal referrals directly to me, but it is also super helpful to let vets know how they can initiate the referral process and request me as a provider if they so choose. Often vets do not know that alternative therapies such as massage, chiropractic care, and acupuncture are covered with their referral.”

To contact Alex, head to her page on our website!

For everyone who has been emailing us about getting in with a therapist — we are so excited to welcome Allison to Collective Good in September! YES - she accepts insurance. Her webpage is up (linked on our profile), there you can reach out to her for care.

A bit about Allison:

“My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, abuse and trauma, grief/loss, relationship issues, substance abuse, and LGBTQIA+ concerns.

I focus on each individual’s strengths throughout the therapy process. I firmly believe that everyone can reach their goals and that therapy empowers, focuses, and supports individuals in this pursuit.”

One of our favorite things about seeing new clients (whether it’s for massage, PT, counseling, midwifery, or medical consulting): the intake. We want you to feel seen and heard before the hands-on work begins, and we want to shape our approach to your session with an individualized mindset and technique. The space we make for our intakes is conversational, approachable, not rushed, and collaborative with our clients. ♥️

Hi, I’m writing an e-book for massage therapists to build a practice of heart (I keep thinking I’m done — and then I go into a session with a client and find I have more to say).

I think some things, like this very brief snippet pulled from a page, could apply to other aspects of life. A good massage therapist knows (or continually learns) how to be with another human in a really unique way. This extends to our lives beyond the table… ♥️

Everything Rachel Naomi Remen writes is so deeply relevant to anyone who serves others in a healing capacity. And isn’t this true? That while we may not always understand others’ suffering or the sometimes enigmatic ways of healing, we can certainly witness and help in making it through.

We have a short-term rental opportunity for the month of July in one of our beautifully furnished massage rooms (practitioners supply linens and lotion). This would be a great experience for someone transitioning between offices/workplaces or an independent LMT who would like to try out our collective.

Interested in something different this summer — and perhaps beyond? Please message us here or email us at contact@collectivegoodhealth.com. Our website has a wealth of helpful information about how we operate, too (linked in bio). Check it out and reach out — we’d love to hear from you!
