✨ Keeping the Dream Alive Through Service ✨
Today, we honor the legacy of a great civil rights leader whose vision was rooted in service, dignity, and community. At Richmond Foot & Ankle Clinic, we keep that dream alive by serving our community with care, purpose, and compassion.
I stand proudly on the shoulders of my ancestors, including my grandfather, the late Moses L. Richmond—a respected mortician and funeral home owner of Cook-Richmond Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. His life’s work centered on service, dignity, and protecting the well-being of his community during challenging times.
His story is part of a larger history that has been shared through documentaries and film, including The Deacons for Defense, a story brought to wider audiences through cinema starring Forest Whitaker. These stories remind us that courage, service, and community protection have always gone hand in hand.
Service is more than a profession—it is a responsibility and a legacy.
