🌻Patient Spotlight | Team O’Neill 🌻

A year ago, Rick O’Neill faced an uncertain road ahead. With faith, family, friends, and Jackie by his side, he has embraced this new chapter of life with strength, grace, and determination. Over the past year, he has shown what it truly means to persevere, and we couldn’t be more proud to celebrate how far he has come.🙏🏼

Rick recently received a new socket with his prosthetic system, which includes the Hi-Fi socket interface, Willow Wood TruSeal liner, Proteor Quatro knee, and Shockwave foot—all designed to keep him moving strong and steady as he takes on life’s next steps.🦿

Now, Rick and Jackie are leading Team O’Neill – O’Neill Strong at the upcoming 15th Annual ME STRONG 5K on January 31, 2026, in DeLand, FL. This incredible event brings together thousands to honor and support all Cancer Warriors.

🌟 Amp Camp: Empower Your Mind, Body, and Spirit 🌟

We’re excited to invite you to a unique and empowering mental health workshop designed specifically for amputees and their caregivers. Join us on Thursday, July 24th at 1:00 pm at our Unity P&O Daytona location, where we’ll focus on strategies to strengthen your mental well-being and build confidence on your journey.

Led by Riley Russell, B.S. Psychology, M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, this workshop will cover:

✅ Practical coping strategies
✅ Confidence-building techniques
✅ Tools to help overcome mental blocks and challenges

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect, grow, and build resilience with others who share similar experiences. We believe in uniting mind, body, and spirit to help you thrive — and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

At Unity Prosthetics and Orthotics, we truly value the medical assistants and office staff who play such an important role in patient care.

Their hard work, coordination, and dedication behind the scenes help make the entire process smoother for patients and providers alike.

When the opportunity came up to do something personal and special, we were thrilled to celebrate Allie and Kim with custom artwork of their beloved pets — a small gesture to show how much we appreciate all they do.
