Dr. Dan McDermott and his wife Ginelle welcomed their son Charles Daniel McDermott into the world on 12/30/25.

EMPros Foundation was a proud sponsor of Camila and Matt Forester’s annual Scentsy Buddy Drive 2025. Here are special words from Camila:

“Our Scentsy Buddy Drive is something very special to us — this year marked our 10th annual drive of Matt and I collecting.

Each holiday season, our community comes together to support a comfort-buddy fundraiser through our Scentsy business, and we deliver the buddies to local partners including AdventHealth Daytona, AdventHealth DeLand, and the Ormond Beach Police Station.

These buddies are shared by hospital staff and police officers alike — given to patients, or to children in difficult situations such as domestic violence calls, providing comfort, snuggles, and a sense of safety during the holidays.

This fundraiser is truly built on the heart of our community, and it wouldn’t be possible without generous donations from local businesses and families. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helps us make a difference each year.”
