EMPros Foundation recently collaborated with Flagler County Schools to “S.T.U.F.F. Bus” – Supplying Things U Find Fundamental with various school supplies for the upcoming school year! The items will be used to fill supply packs for their Back to School Jam on August 2nd and will help those students who are most in need. We are incredibly proud to be able to make a direct impact in our communities through donations such as this.

I am delighted to share that Dr. Samuel Muniz has been promoted to assistant medical director at AdventHealth Fish Memorial beginning August 1st. Dr. Muniz has been with EMPros since July 2021 and has shown exemplary efforts surrounding patient care, patient experience, and leadership. Dr. Muniz is a Seminole through and through as he attended FSU for his undergrad studies and medical school. He completed his emergency medicine residency at AdventHealth East and was the chief resident. Dr. Muniz was most recently the assistant medical director at AdventHealth Daytona Beach and was on the sepsis committee. His hobbies include utilizing his season tickets to the Orlando Magic games and watching FSU football. Dr. Muniz and his wonderful wife, Renee, have been married for two years and they thoroughly cherish spending time with their family and friends.

I am excited to announce that Sydni Oliveto, DO, has been promoted to Assistant Medical Director at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, effective August 1st. She will join Dr. James Ontell, continuing our tradition of strong and collaborative leadership within the emergency department, supporting our department’s continued growth and excellence.
Dr. Oliveto joined EMPros in July 2020 and has proven to be a standout emergency medicine physician. She completed medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and residency at the Sparrow/Michigan State University EM Residency in Lansing, MI.
During residency, Dr. Oliveto was active in their Statewide Campus System Residency Assessment Committee that assessed and made recommendations for content and assessed the efficacy of the statewide EM Osteopathic residency education consortium. She also served as a resident liaison in her residency’s Program Evaluation Committee that worked with program and hospital leadership to improve curriculum, promote resident wellness, and provide customized advanced education/fellowship track training to residents.
Recently, Dr. Oliveto has been serving on the Peer Review Committee for patient safety at AdventHealth Daytona Beach and has been instrumental within our EMPros Social Events Committee.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Oliveto enjoys reading a wide range of genres—from fantasy to finance—and loves exploring the outdoors. She and her husband, Brian, have been married for 14 years and share a passion for traveling, whether it’s boating, backpacking in the mountains, or relaxing at the beach.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Oliveto on this well-deserved recognition. We’re excited to see the continued impact she will have in her expanded leadership role.

I am thrilled to announce that Gregory Cuculino, MD has been promoted to assistant medical director for AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach, beginning September 1st. Dr. Cuculino joined EMPros in August 2024; bringing with him a wealth of experience in emergency medicine. An esteemed physician, Dr. Cuculino has served in nearly every position within the medical staff, including president and chaired many committees throughout his career in emergency medicine.
Dr. Cuculino received his medical degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware. He was the chairman of the Emergency Department for over 20 years and was the system director for EM for Crozer Keystone Health System/ Prospect Health System. It was comprised of 4 EDs including a level 2 trauma center and three community EDs.
Dr. Cuculino has been happily married to his wife, Jeanine, for 33 years and together they have two children, Lauren and Jaclyn, both married and out of the house. Outside of medicine, his hobby is trying to find a hobby - Salt water fish, stained glass, holiday projection mapping has been the most recent ventures.
Dr. Cuculino is deeply passionate about emergency medicine and finds great fulfillment in what he does. He appreciates being able to combine outstanding patient care with the challenges and rewards of an administrative role.

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Cuculino on this well-deserved promotion. We are excited to see the continued impact he will have in his expanded role within EMPros.
