As many of you are already aware, my bar was recently the scene of a tragic and deadly crime on one of my regular customers, Debra Jost. Debra was a daughter, mother and grandmother. She was a beautiful human being who didn’t deserve to lose her life in such a brutal and senseless way. She wasn’t just a regular customer of my bar, she was part of the Oyster Bay family and now we all grieve together in her loss.
As you will read in the article below this dirt bag claimed he felt “threatened by her”, I have the video from my security camera that shows Debra was merely trying to close the door so that he couldn’t get back in the bar and it shows how this coward hit her with such force that it killed her. There is no question when you see the video that she was never a threat to him, he is a career criminal who should have never been out on the streets to begin with.
As the days and months pass I ask that you keep Debra’s family in your prayers and also pray that JUSTICE will be served on this scum bag who perpetrated this deadly act against a totally innocent and defenseless woman.
I also want to thank my bartender and the other patrons of my establishment (they know who they are) who rendered first aid to Debra until the paramedics arrived…as your lives will forever be changed from witnessing this heinous act as well.
