Loads of Smiles Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (PPEC) - Grand Opening March 2013 Loads of Smiles, LLC.

is a day treatment center for medically complex children ranging from ages newborn to 21 years of age. Our team will consist of licensed staff through the State of Florida. Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Respiratory Therapists and Occupational Therapists. The center is designed to offer:
* A safe, social environment, which provides experience in peer interaction and socialization thus reducing homebound isolation.
* Increase the accessibility to professional staff.
* To promote developmental stimulation.
* To provide faster rehabilitation.
* To improve parent coping skills and decrease burn out. We will improve education to all parents on long-term strategies.
* To provide a cost-efficient care option compared to costly hospitalization or private duty nursing. Children will receive Physical, Occupational, Speech and Respiratory therapies in an environment that focuses on the developmental and social needs of children who require short-term, long-term, or intermittent treatment. All therapy services will be tailored to each child's needs and will be implemented per their individualized care plan. Teachers will teach specific enrichment programs for our children who are three-years-old and up and eligible for services through the counties criteria. We will also have child development associates on staff who design and implement structured schedules of activities throughout each day to provide stimulating environment for the child.

South Daytona - Annual Fall Festival! Thank you to all the amazing staff who made this day so special for the children at Loads of Smiles. It was a wonderful morning celebrating with families and friends. We played games, enjoyed the farm animals, had an amazing presentation from the South Daytona Fire Department, made fun fall crafts and decorated cookies! Oh and TONS of photos!! 🍁
