Your nose plays a powerful role in both facial balance and everyday function. Subtle changes in shape, size, or symmetry can dramatically improve how your features work together, while internal structural issues can impact breathing and overall comfort. 👃✨

With rhinoplasty, Dr. Schalit takes a personalized approach that considers both aesthetics and function. Whether the goal is refining proportions, correcting asymmetry, or addressing concerns like a deviated septum, the focus is always on results that look natural and feel better.

The right rhinoplasty doesn’t just change how your nose looks, it can enhance confidence, improve breathing, and restore harmony to the face.

Did you know? 💭

Unlike traditional facelifts that only tighten skin, a Deep Plane Facelift releases and elevates the deeper connective tissues beneath the SMAS layer, including the midface and cheek structures, allowing for a more natural, long-lasting lift with less tension on the skin itself.

✨ This means:
✔️ Improved midface support & lifted malar prominence.
✔️ More natural results that age with you.
✔️ Reduced risk of over-pulled or “wind-swept” appearance.
✔️ Tension distributed in deeper tissue, not on the skin.

For patients seeking lift without the stretched look, especially those with mid-facial descent or jowling, the deep plane is often the more durable, refined choice.

Not every facelift case starts with perfect skin, and that’s where experience matters most. 🙌

Watch along as Dr. Schalit completes a highly complex facial rejuvenation on a 66-year-old patient with decades of prior filler and surgical history.

This case involved thin skin, significant scar tissue, and compromised skin quality—very different from the “ideal” facelift patient often seen online. The approach focused on strength where it counts and finesse where it shows.

💫 Key elements of this stage:
→ Completing the preservation deep plane lift, closing the deep layer before the skin.
→ Strategically hidden incisions within the hairline and ear canal.
→ Removal of old scar tissue to soften white scarring.
→ Lifting the midface, neck, and rotating the corners of the mouth upward.
→ Restoring support under the eyes and refining the jawline.
→ Suspending the brow with a precise temporal tug for a subtle lateral eye lift.
→ Finishing with light laser resurfacing and Ariessence growth factor support.

The goal wasn’t to change her, but to support, lift, and restore balance using durable techniques. She did beautifully, with the expected settling of volume and a close follow-up planned the very next day.

Advanced facial surgery requires experience and restraint. ✨

Watch along for Part 2 as Dr. Schalit continues a complex case combining an endoscopic brow lift, deep plane preservation facelift, full-face laser, and Ariessence.

This patient previously underwent a traditional SMAS facelift, meaning there’s limited excess skin to remove. Instead, the focus is on dropping safely into the deep plane to create a controlled, reliable flap—placing all tension on the deeper structures so the skin can lie back naturally.

🌟 In this portion of the case, Dr. Schalit highlights:
→ Why the deep flap offers superior control of the midface and deep neck.
→ Correcting midface descent and downturned corners without over-pulling the skin.
→ Navigating prior surgery, thin tissue, and existing filler with precision.
→ Identifying and protecting the nerves of facial expression.
→ Encountering and carefully dissecting around residual hyaluronic acid filler.

This is the kind of revision work that demands advanced anatomy knowledge, meticulous technique, and thoughtful surgical planning—where subtlety matters just as much as strength.

Every face has a history, and this one deserves a thoughtful plan. 💫
Watch along as Dr. Schalit introduces a more complex surgical case and walks through the strategy behind it.

🌟 This patient is scheduled for:
→ An endoscopic brow lift to elevate the tail of the brow with a precise temporal approach.
→ A preservation deep plane facelift to lift descended facial tissues and restore midface support.
→ Laser resurfacing to improve skin quality and address prior scarring.

✨ What makes this case unique:
→ A facelift performed over 15 years ago.
→ Long-term filler use, now being carefully dissolved for accuracy.
→ Prior eyelid and midface surgery performed by Dr. Schalit in 2014.
→ Thin, fragile skin that requires advanced technique and restraint.

Her goals include softening downward-turned features, improving neck banding and frontal neck laxity, correcting brow hooding, and restoring natural-looking volume through deep plane lifting—not filler.

This case is all about precision, respect for previous work, and choosing the right plane to achieve balance and longevity.

Follow us and stay tuned for part 2! 🙌
