One week post-op and a major milestone. 😍

Sutures in front of the ears have been removed; the remaining incisions are fading, and Tracy is transitioning to recovery-focused skincare and light therapy to reduce redness. She’s cleared to walk (with sun protection) and will soon begin scar-laser treatment to further refine the results.

Most importantly? 💭 Her recovery has been smoother than expected, with little pain and steady progress—proof that precision planning and preservation techniques make a difference at every stage. 👏

Follow us and stay tuned! We will be posting her results soon. ✨

Day 2 and things are moving right on schedule! ⚡️

Tracy reports very little discomfort. Her drains have been removed, and her neck and jawline are already showing noticeable contour improvement. Most of the swelling at this stage is expected and related to the depth of her CO₂ laser resurfacing, which was used intentionally to correct advanced sun damage and deep wrinkles.

This phase is about protection, proper skincare, and letting the body do what it does best: heal. 🙌

Just 15 hours post-op and already showing why deep plane preservation matters. 🙌

At Day 1, Tracy has minimal bruising, clean incision lines, and early jawline definition despite normal post-surgical swelling. Her procedure was designed to address pre-jowl laxity, neck banding, cheek volume loss, and severe sun damage, all while maintaining natural facial movement.

Platelet-derived growth factors were applied after laser treatment to support healing, collagen production, and skin turnover. Early recovery, thoughtfully managed.

Big surgery day, intentional technique. 💫

Tracy’s transformation began with a deep-plane face and neck lift, paired with full-face Helix CO₂ laser resurfacing, a combination designed to restore structure and dramatically improve skin quality.

By repositioning deeper facial layers (not just tightening the skin) and resurfacing years of sun damage, this approach targets jawline definition, neck banding, volume loss, and advanced photodamage in one comprehensive plan.

Eight weeks post-op, and Karen is doing beautifully. 😍

In this follow-up, Dr. Schalit checks in with Karen after her preservation deep plane face and neck lift, full-face laser treatment, and endoscopic brow lift (temporal tug). Her recovery has been smooth and well-managed, with early discomfort resolving quickly, and at just eight weeks, she’s already cleared to return to full activity, including dancing and weightlifting.

Some deep sutures are still dissolving, which is completely normal at this stage, especially in patients with a thinner profile. While they aren’t visible, they may still be felt temporarily as the tissues continue to heal.

Final photos are due at the 12-week mark, when everything has had time to settle fully. Thoughtful technique, attentive follow-up, and results that continue to improve with time! 💫

Eyes are one of the first areas to show signs of aging, from excess skin and puffiness to fine lines and loose contours around the lids. 👁️✨

Quad blepharoplasty is a comprehensive approach that rejuvenates all four eyelids (upper and lower) in a single procedure, addressing sagging skin and excess fat to restore a brighter, more refreshed eye area.

When combined with a periorbital laser, we can further improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and sun-damaged areas, and enhance overall eyelid rejuvenation for smoother, more youthful-looking results.

This patient’s before & after highlights how targeted eyelid surgery + laser can soften tired or aged eyes while maintaining a natural, harmonious appearance, refreshing the face without looking overdone.

"Dr. Schalit and his team are wonderful, truly such a great positive experience. As an RN, when I was considering facial cosmetic enhancement, I knew immediately it would be Dr. Schalit. I wanted a skilled facial surgeon, not just a general plastic surgeon. The office staff is kind, very helpful and they all seem happy.. nothing worse than a medical staff that is miserable. So happy with my results and the whole experience."

We’re so grateful for feedback like this, and even more honored when it comes from a fellow healthcare professional. Thank you for trusting Dr. Schalit and our entire team with your care! ✨

A deep plane facelift goes beyond tightening the skin. 👏

This advanced technique repositions the deeper facial structures that naturally descend with age, creating results that look refreshed, balanced, and long-lasting.

Because the lift works at a deeper level, outcomes tend to appear more natural with less tension on the skin. The goal is not to look “different,” but to restore facial harmony and soften signs of aging while preserving your unique features.

Candidacy isn’t determined by age alone. Patients in their 40s, 50s, and beyond may benefit depending on facial anatomy, degree of laxity, and aesthetic goals. Addressing structural changes earlier can often lead to more refined, enduring results.

Karen’s day 1 post-op check-in part 2! 💫

In this follow-up, Dr. Schalit walks through Karen’s progress on day one after surgery and what to expect next in her recovery.

Karen is feeling minimal discomfort overall, with her biggest challenge being sleep adjustments. As a side sleeper, she’s been advised to rest on her back to support proper healing. Dr. Schalit reviews her incision placement, carefully concealed within the hairline, along the tragus, and behind the ear, as well as the staples from the endoscopic brow lift. Pinpoint marks from the laser treatment are visible and are part of the process to stimulate collagen and elastin renewal.

Platelet-derived growth factor was applied to support skin healing and collagen turnover as the laser sites recover. For now, Karen will continue wearing her jaw bra, staying iced and wrapped, with small drains scheduled for removal the following day. She’ll be able to shower and wash her hair later this week, as long as the jaw bra is replaced afterward.

Karen’s day 1 post-op check-in! ✨

Just about 12 hours after surgery, Karen is already doing well. In this video, Dr. Schalit walks through her early recovery following a preservation deep-plane facelift, an endoscopic brow lift with a temporal lift to elevate the lateral brows, and Helix CO₂ laser resurfacing.

Because Karen had prior brow work years ago, her surgical plan was carefully customized. Equally important, she spent months preparing for surgery to ensure she was metabolically optimized and in a healthy place going in, something Dr. Schalit emphasizes can play a major role in recovery. Post-op, Karen also incorporated a physician-guided peptide support regimen to assist healing.

Her first night went smoothly, with minimal swelling and bruising at this early stage.

Follow along for Part 2 as we continue to track Karen’s recovery!
