We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our behavioral health team. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy to a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate is committed to holistic, patient-centered care and comfortable working in an integrated care setting.
Qualifications:
• Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Texas
• Valid DEA license with ability to prescribe controlled substances
• Experience working in community mental health, primary care, or FQHC settings preferred
• Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) a plus
• Commitment to serving underserved populations and working in a team-based model
Schedule & Compensation:
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (some flexibility may be available)
• Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
• Loan Repayment: Eligible for NHSC Loan Repayment Program

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dental team. The RDH will provide preventive dental care, patient education, and support for our dentists in delivering high-quality oral health services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and mission-driven environment where your work directly impacts community health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform dental cleanings, including prophylaxis and scaling/root planning
• Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Document patient care and findings in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate with dentists and other care team members to coordinate treatment
• Comply with infection control, OSHA, Joint Commission and HIPAA standards
• Assist with community outreach and oral health education initiatives, as needed
Qualifications:
• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Texas
• CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required
• Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations
Schedule & Compensation:
• Schedule: Full-Time (Monday–Thursday; no weekends or evenings required)
• Compensation: Competitive hourly or salaried rate based on experience

The Tarleton Tour of Stephenville is always a highlight of Week of Welcome (WOW Week)!

AccelHealth has a very rich history in De Leon, Texas and surrounding communities. Cross Timbers Health Clinics, now AccelHealth, began providing services to the community in 1967 and was formally chartered in 1986. We are the only medical health provider in De Leon providing access to a wide array of primary health care services including medical care for the entire family.

We are an FTCA deemed Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), accredited through The Joint Commission for all services surveyed under the applicable manual(s) noted in the comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Ambulatory Health Care receiving the Gold Seal of Approval four times, and an Accountable Care Organization.

During the past 52 years, AccelHealth has made significant progress in expanding access to care in Central Texas, particularly those most in need. Our Medical and Behavioral Health clinics locations include De Leon, Brownwood and Stephenville and Dental services are provided in the De Leon and Stephenville clinics. Medical services include: Primary Healthcare, Women’s Health, Family Planning, Immunization, Chronic Care, Laboratory Services and Hepatitis C Screening and Treatment. Along with Family Dental Care, AccelHealth offers Behavioral Health services including treatment for Addictions and Substance Use Disorders. AccelHealth continues to provide affordable health care for patients of all income levels through a sliding fee scale based on income as compared to Federal poverty guidelines.
