When thinking about wedding prep, we want to start earlier rather than later to allow for a curated treatment plan:

6–12 months out: Start with skincare and skin treatments. Medical-grade skincare, microneedling, or laser sessions help improve texture, tone, and collagen so your skin is the best foundation for everything that follows. Consider tox treatments every 3-4 months leading up to the big day.

3–6 months out: This is the time for injectables like facial balancing + lip filler. Doing these earlier allows swelling to fully resolve and gives time for small refinements if needed.

4-6 weeks out: Final tox treatment so it’s perfectly settled by the wedding day. Continue with gentle treatments like facials to keep skin glowing.

Lower face slimming magic 🪄

Not all hyaluronic acid filler is created equal. Hyaluronic acid is a substance your body naturally makes. It binds to water to keep your skin hydrated, plump, and supported; however, we gradually lose it over time, and our bodies slowly break it down as we age, which is part of why we see volume loss and changes in skin quality.

Every product in the HA family has a different density, flexibility, and lift capacity - which means the filler we choose for lips is very different from what we’d use in cheeks or jawline. The goal isn’t just to add volume, it’s to support, contour, and move naturally with your face. The art is knowing which tool to use and where to place it.

Filler is not permanent, your body breaks it down over time. However, the time in which you break it down depends on the product used, the amount, the area treated and your body’s own metabolism. In general, lip filler lasts 6-18 months, chin filler 12-24 months, cheeks/jawline 18-24+ months.
