Raymond William "Bill" Gevers

Raymond William “Bill” Gevers, 78 of De Pere, passed away on April 29, 2026, in the comfort of his own home after a long-fought battle with MDS. He was born on November 24, 1947, to the late Raphael and Loretta Gevers in Green Bay. He graduated from West De Pere High School in 1965. He married Sue Hurley on November 16, 1968.

Bill was a barber in De Pere for many years. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and spending time with family. Bill loved perch fishing and bird hunting as well. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan.

Bill is survived by his wife Sue, their children Heather (Russ) Willems, Greg (Sheri) Gevers, Matt (Kim Simmons) Gevers, grandchildren Garrett (Erin), Austin (Angela), Michaela (Trent), Mason (Zoe), Merrick, Colin and Cody, and a great-grandchild Brannigan. He is further survived by his sister Mary Achten, and in-laws Shirley Gevers, Sam Hurley, Eileen Hurley, Dan (Sue) Hurley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sue’s parents, his brother James, sister Virginia Jansen, brothers-in-law Bernie Achten, Stu Jansen, Thomas Hurley Jr, and nephews Jimmy Acthen and Andy Gevers.

Family and friends may call for visitation on Tuesday, May 5 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Corner of Lourdes Avenue & Suburban Drive, 1305 Lourdes Ave, De Pere, WI 54115. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating. Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family.

The family of Bill requests no plants or flowers. Instead, a memorial fund will be established.

A special thank you to St. Mary Oncology Staff for their care of Bill over the last several years, as well as Unity Hospice for their compassion and care.

Rickey Boullack

Rickey Lee Boullack Sr., a resident of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on January 31, 2026. Mr. Boullack was born on November 3, 1949, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, to the late Robert F. Boullack and Elvera Vera Boullack of Reedsville, WI, and Marinette, WI.

Mr. Boullack is an alumnus of Flint, Michigan High School. During his high school years, he participated in the Civil Air Patrol with the United States Air Force and attended community college. He later became a Mormon and went on a mission, serving in Denver, Grand Junction, and Aurora, Colorado. He disseminated the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, cultivated numerous relationships, and provided assistance to many individuals. Following his mission, Mr. Boullack Sr. In 1980, he relocated to Provo, Utah, to embark on a new career path and enrolled at Brigham Young University. Mr. Boullack was awarded the Hobbs Pittenger American History Scholarship and pursued studies in psychology and organizational behavior, was employed by eagle marketing, selling records and tapes Mormon religion sold it in the summer.

In 1980, he married Mary Rushlow. They kept sharing and discussing the principles of the LDS Church. Mr. Boullack Sr., before commencing his role at the Utah Transit Authority. During his tenure at the Utah Transit Authority, he forged significant relationships that positively impacted many individuals, including his late colleague, Kay Ricks. Rickey Lee Boullack Sr., in collaboration with other UTA employees, also initiated a program to subsidize transportation costs for individuals. Mr. Boullack previously held a position at the University of Utah, where he conducted studies in psychology. Furthermore, he contributed to a crisis hotline and performed custodial duties.

Mr. Boullack Sr. relocated to Wisconsin, where he assisted numerous individuals, including his parents. He subsequently commenced employment at CONSTRUCTION & GENERAL LABORERS' LOCAL UNION No. 33, from which he ultimately retired.

Mr. Boullack is survived by his two sisters, Angela and Debbie. He is also survived by his former wife, Mary Johnson, and their children, Kristy Beryl Stewart Boullack, Heidi Lee Boullack, and Rickey Lee Jr. Boullack, as well as his four grandchildren: Michael, Ashley, Hailey, and Kingston.

Mr. Boullack is also remembered by his friend and family, Angela, her husband Mike, and their late son Adam, along with their friends Joe Cyrus, Tina, Douglas, Paige, and Taylor, their two children. He is also remembered by his dear late friend Kay Ricks, and his dear friend Debbie.

A Celebration of Life for Rickey will be held at a later date.

Lawrence Ludwig Abts

Lawrence L. Abts, 80, New Berlin, formerly of De Pere, passed away early Friday morning, April 24, 2026. He was born on October 20, 1945, to the late Norman and Joyce (Anderson) Abts.

Lawrence graduated from Green Bay West High School. He then served his country in the United States Navy from 1964 until 1969.

On October 24, 1970, he was united in marriage to Shirley Van Vonderen at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna.

Lawrence was employed at Proctor & Gamble for 35 years before retirement. Never one to sit still, and an avid sports fan, Lawrence was the assistant varsity pitching and Catcher’s coach for the Ashwaubenon Girl’s Softball team for 28 years. Lawrence also Pitched in AAA Softball leagues, and played in nine world tournaments, and made the All-World team.

He also enjoyed traveling with Shirley and playing golf.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, his sons; Brant Abts, and Troy (Elaina) Abts. His grandchildren; Katherine Abts, Grace Abts, Lydia Abts, Michael Abts, and Brody Abts. Lawrence is also survived by his sister Dianna (Dave) Cornelissen, and Shirley’s siblings; Karen (Tom) Portman, John Van Vonderen, and Lynn (Jim) Landers.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Ellie Abts, his parents, his brother Norman Abts Jr., brother-in-law Craig Van Vonderen, and his in-laws Joseph and Luella Van Vonderen.

Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 1305 Lourdes Ave., De Pere, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 9:00AM, until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating. Military honors will follow mass.

A memorial service for Lawrence will take place from 5:00PM – 7:00PM on May 21, 2026, at Regency Independent Living in New Berlin.

Thank you to everyone to stopped by our 2026 Shred Event on Saturday! We apologize for ending the event early, but the truck was full by 12:30pm.

Jeff J. Olson

Jeffrey John Olson (46), of Suring, WI, passed away on April 25th after a battle with stomach cancer.

Born on January 24, 1980, Jeff was the son of Jack and Judi Olson. They provided a happy childhood for Jeff and his siblings Jamie and Jesse, growing up on a farm, camping, and many vacations. Jeff loved all things farming and is a 1998 Suring High School graduate. He worked in construction for his uncle Tom Treml which inspired him to go to UW-Platteville. Jeff has a degree in Building Construction Management and has stayed close with many of his college friends.

Jeff worked as a service manager, technician and semi driver for CPR Services in De Pere over the last 18 years. He loved truckin', especially in Door County and knew almost every county highway in Northeastern Wisconsin by heart and was always waving to passers by.

He was passionate about dirt bikes, Dodge diesels, collecting farm toys, attending Hodag Country fest every year with a great group of friends and kayaking and camping with family. He was an adventurer who was always up for a new experience. His close relationship with his nephew and nieces Jack, Jacey and June Neils was a source of pride for Jeff. He loved joking around, but also tried to be a role model to them.

Jeff is survived by the love of his life that he found later in life, Jodie Blumreich, his parents Jack and Judi Olson, sister Jamie Neils (Justin), brother Jesse Olson (Dana Bodway), nephew and nieces Jack, Jacey, June, Morgan and Taylor, many loved aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bob and Betty Olson and Terry and Louis Pansier, uncles Tom Treml and Greg Olson and cousin Drew Olson.

A visitation will be held at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, May 2nd. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am. Jeff loved to wear baseball caps and all are encouraged to wear one to the service (the curvier the brim, the better). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Suring FFA Alumni Association 13337 Crescent Dr, Suring, WI 54174.

Carol Jewel Krueger

Carol J Krueger, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday April 24th at Brillion West Haven.

Carol was born on July 6, 1939, daughter of the late Harry & Ellen Wenzel.

She graduated from Reedsville High School in 1957, then began her career as a keypunch operator at Manitowoc Aluminum Specialty. She later married the love of her life, Victor, and together they built a life rooted in love and dedication to their family. Carol became a full-time mom to their three beautiful children—Wendy, Mark, and Michelle—a role she cherished deeply.

When her children were older and in school, Carol began a new chapter as a bus driver for Brandt Buses, where she served the community for 35 dedicated years before retiring. She took pride in her work and in the many students and families she came to know along the way.

Carol was also deeply involved in her community. As a dedicated member of the Reedsville Athletic Association, she and Vic helped revive the softball program by organizing leagues and tournaments that brought the community together and created opportunities for many young athletes to play.

In her free time, Carol loved playing cards, especially sheepshead and cribbage—and rarely passed up the chance to sit at the table with family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping, reading, and spending time outdoors mowing lawns. Whether tending the ball fields, the cemetery, or her own yard, she found peace, joy, and pride in caring for the spaces around her.

Carol is survived by her children: Wendy (Bill) Mohr of Neenah, Mark (Lori) Krueger of Brillion, Michelle (Dale) Brown of Green Bay.

Grandchildren: Ryan, Michaela Mohr, Sheila (Brock) Miller, Bailey (Mykela) Krueger, Maccoy Krueger, Katie Brown.

Great–Grandchildren: Brinley & Colton Miller; Aurelia , Renold & Arlina Krueger

Nieces, Nephews, other relatives & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Victor & Grandson Travis Brown.

Her mother & father-in-law: George & Helen (Reinhold) Krueger

Siblings & in-laws: Vernaye (Ed) Gibbs, Bob (Laurice) Wenzel.

Brother in laws & sister in-laws: Marne & Beatrice Krueger, Merline & Eileen Krueger, Harland & Doris Krueger. A nephew Marne Lee Krueger, and a niece Sally Gibbs.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday May 5th at Faith United Methodist Church, Brillion. The family will greet relatives & friends from 9:30am until the time of service. Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison, is assisting the family.

Carol will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strong community spirit, and the joy she found in the simple moments of life. Her kindness, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Robert John Anderson Jr.

Robert J. Anderson Jr., 66 of Green Bay, passed away surrounded by family on April 21, 2026. He was born on August 4, 1959, to the late Robert and Jacqueline (Bierke) Anderson in Green Bay, WI. He graduated from Preble High School.

Bob owned his own trucking company, Bob Anderson Trucking, for 25 years. He was involved in transporting construction materials all over the state. Bob loved supervising his family, making his famous booyah recipe, spending time at White Potato Lake, and watching NASCAR and other races. He always enjoyed spending time with family at their gatherings.

Bob is survived by his sons, Cory, Ryan, and Alex, grandchildren, Liam, Cora, Brahm, with one more grandchild on the way. He is further survived by siblings, Dawn (Stuart) Podolnick, Mary Butterfield, Kathy Jacobs, John Anderson, and Linda Thibodeau (partner Eric), longtime partner Heike Langner, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Barbara (Karl) Pasch, Michael Butterfield and Mark Jacobs.

A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held at a later date.

Ronald Herbert Wach

Ronald Herbert Wach, 83, passed away April 19, 2026. He was born in Green Bay, WI on November 15, 1942, to Herbert and Esther (Behnke) Wach. Ron graduated from Preble High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He married Mary Pat Holzer, who preceded him in death on June 27, 2007.

Ron spent his early career in finance, working his way up to Chief Financial Officer of Bruce Lake Steel in Pennsylvania, where he and his wife, Mary Pat, began and raised their family. In 1981, Ron and Mary Pat followed their dream of working together when they purchased Greenfield’s, a card and gift shop in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Their entrepreneurial spirit led them to expand the business a few years later by adding an appliance and housewares store, creating a successful and well-loved venture.

Eventually, Ron and his family returned to Green Bay to be closer to loved ones. He retired from NWTC after 17 years as a control technician in purchasing.

Ron was a man of many talents who could fix nearly anything. He cherished spending time with family and especially loved having them gathered around. His interests included boating, golfing, attending car shows, and taking road trips in his Corvette. He was an active member of several sports’ car clubs as well as the German American Club. Ron also enjoyed dancing and looked forward to Friday fish outings with family and friends.

Later in life, Ron was fortunate to find a new love and family with Del, following Mary Pat’s passing.

Ron is survived by his wife Delphine Richardson Wach; children, Jennifer (Joe) Otte, Paula Ormsbee, Gunther (Kelly) Wach, Gayle (Jim) Begotka, Becky Koltz and his stepson-in-law Will Herlache; grandchildren, Brandon and Charles Ormsbee, John Otte, Georgia Soudant, Grace and Sara Begotka, Matthew, Anna, and Isaac Herlache, Rachel and Andy Koltz; great-grandchildren, Collin and Hayden Ormsbee and Benjamin Van Beek; sister, Carol Nighorn, and many nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Edmund Ormsbee and stepdaughter Angie Herlache.

Family and friends may call to Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. with Deacon Mike Vander Bloomen officiating.
