🤩✨Join us for Meet the Tech Tuesday!✨🤩

Introducinggggg… Ms. Teagan!🥳

Teagan is one of our amazing Registered Behavioral Technicians here at Milestones and has been part of our team for over a year and a half! Today we are highlighting her and sharing some fun facts to get to know her better! 💛

“Hello, I’m Teagan! I’m currently in school majoring in psychology. My hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, shopping, and traveling! I am also a part of the cheer and STUNT teams, where I enjoy staying active and building strong bonds with my teammates!”

✈️Teagan’s bucket list includes traveling to all 50 states!

☀️Her favorite way to spend a spring day is going for walks along the river!

🧠A secret talent Teagan has is that she can name the first 100 digits of pi!

👍🏻A goal she has for herself this year is to say “yes” to more spontaneous plans!

💖Her favorite thing about working at Milestones is the positive atmosphere and the opportunity to build strong bonds with each kid she works with!

🌟 March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! 🌟

At Milestones, we proudly recognize March as a time to celebrate the strengths, achievements, and potential of individuals with developmental disabilities. This month is an opportunity to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and support people in living their fullest lives.

A key way we support individuals with developmental disabilities is through ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy. While ABA is commonly associated with autism, its benefits extend far beyond a single diagnosis. ABA strategies are evidence-based and help individuals across a wide range of developmental challenges to:

• Develop essential life skills
• Improve communication and social interaction
• Increase independence
• Build confidence and self-advocacy

ABA therapy focuses on understanding each individual’s unique strengths and challenges, creating personalized goals, and providing meaningful support that improves daily life, no matter the diagnosis.

This March, we celebrate the accomplishments of the individuals we serve and reaffirm our commitment to providing interventions that empower every person to thrive.
