Pickling season has arrived.
First up: Shrimp
12 oz peeled, and 2 min boil, in Old Bay seasoned water. Drained and chilled.
Thinly sliced 1/2 sm yellow onion- set aside.
In a mixing bowl combine:
1/3 c lemon juice, 1/2 c olive oil, 1tsp ground Allspice and 1 tsp ground celery seeds. 6 Bay leaves. Small clove, minced garlic.
In clean jar layer onions and shrimp, pour liquid over shrimp, making sure they stay submerged. Close and refrigerate overnite.
