The brave teen who had heart surgery Thursday—something like 11 hours in the operating room—is leaving ICU today!!! I saw a little clip of him walking! Looking strong and brave and healing with every step!
I have tears as I write this. Overcome with gratitude for his successful surgery, the healing path he is on. And for the blessing of working with him and his parents at this time. In this most tumultuous time on our planet, his parents, with their own personal struggles, have shown such an inspiring level of love for their son.
Raising children is the toughest job on the planet!! But when we stay in the energy of POSSIBILITIES —which only comes from LOVE itself—all things can happen!! I am incredibly blessed to be witnessing this family’s journey.
I appreciate the prayers, thoughts and love you sent this kiddo and his doctors. Children’s Hospital has been awesome for them. So please keep him in your hearts as he moves forward. Live not in fear of the what ifs but in the love of possibilities and what IS!! 💜🙏🏼
