The brave teen who had heart surgery Thursday—something like 11 hours in the operating room—is leaving ICU today!!! I saw a little clip of him walking! Looking strong and brave and healing with every step!

I have tears as I write this. Overcome with gratitude for his successful surgery, the healing path he is on. And for the blessing of working with him and his parents at this time. In this most tumultuous time on our planet, his parents, with their own personal struggles, have shown such an inspiring level of love for their son.

Raising children is the toughest job on the planet!! But when we stay in the energy of POSSIBILITIES —which only comes from LOVE itself—all things can happen!! I am incredibly blessed to be witnessing this family’s journey.

I appreciate the prayers, thoughts and love you sent this kiddo and his doctors. Children’s Hospital has been awesome for them. So please keep him in your hearts as he moves forward. Live not in fear of the what ifs but in the love of possibilities and what IS!! 💜🙏🏼

I know a special kiddo who is going to have heart surgery tomorrow. As I know all too well from my nephew's two heart surgeries, this is a major deal. During this time on our planet especially, where the energy is so topsy turvy, I am asking you to please send out some positivity and healing thoughts -- that the surgeons are present and focused and that this teen remains hopeful, faithful and open to the love pouring his way. With deep gratitude I thank you. 🙏❤️

This is a wonderful conversation about parenting, especially being a Dad. Definitely worth listening to. Some serious nuggets in here y’all!!!

Yesterday I honored my Dad being in the woods and talking to him. I miss my DaddyO but there is a certain level of peace now. Knowing Mom n Dad are together-however that looks after this Earth walk-helps. And the deep connection I feel with my Mamma Mia, is helping my connection with my Dad. Miss him. Love him. Blessed to have learned from him. Love you DaddyO!! 😘

Standardized testing shows one type of knowledge. But many kiddos are gifted in other ways. We have to help kids see beyond test scores! When a kid sits in a classroom everyday comparing themselves to others based on standardized measures...the amount of anxiety and depression increases by the minute. Let's support kids with less comparisons and more focus on individuality and diversity!
