Small adjustments now can change how the entire year finishes.

Catching rising blood pressure early.
Addressing A1C before it becomes a diagnosis.
Correcting cholesterol trends before long-term damage builds.

That’s what structured preventive care looks like.

Men are often taught to “suck it up” and push through pain.

That mindset can be dangerous when it comes to health.

This morning on THV11’s The Vine at 9, Dr. Absalom Tilley discussed Playbook Men’s Health and why too many men wait until something is wrong before seeing a doctor.

He shared a sobering reminder:

“The most common symptom and sign that men have that let us know that they have heart disease is sudden death.”

Playbook Men’s Health was created to help men stop “playing through it” and start having a plan. It’s comprehensive, relationship-based care designed to improve both lifespan and quality of life.

Men, eyes on me.

If last year didn’t go how you planned, that’s not failure. That’s data.

Blood pressure. A1C. Cholesterol. Testosterone.

The scoreboard isn’t judgment — it’s guidance.

At Playbook Men’s Health by Healthy Connections, we help you review the numbers, make the adjustment, and build momentum before small issues become bigger problems.

Watch the message. Then take action.

This , February 25, we’re recognizing Inconvenience Yourself Day.

Growth rarely comes from comfort. Small, intentional actions today — even when they feel inconvenient — build stronger mental and physical health tomorrow.

Taking a short walk instead of scrolling. Preparing a balanced meal instead of grabbing fast food. Scheduling the behavioral health appointment you’ve been putting off. These small decisions build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and support long-term wellness.

At Evolve Behavioral Health Services by Healthy Connections, our licensed providers offer professional therapy and behavioral health care grounded in clinical expertise, compassion, and respect. Preventive mental health is part of whole-person care — and it starts with one intentional step.

Call 800-409-6250 or visit evolvebhs.com to schedule an appointment today.

You don’t have to live with foot pain.

Spring is almost here. Summer is right around the corner. If you’ve been “dealing with” bunions, fractures, diabetic foot issues, or lingering discomfort, it may be time to stop adjusting your life around pain and actually fix it.

In this week’s episode of the Connected Podcast by Healthy Connections, Marisol sits down with Dr. Mazzullah Khan, DPM, now seeing patients in Hot Springs. They discuss what podiatry really covers, how many in-office procedures can provide quick relief, and why this specialty is such a major need in Arkansas.

We’re halfway through the 2026 Polk County Dental Sealant Project, and the impact is already being felt across our schools.

In partnership with the UAFS Dental Hygiene Program, our team is providing sealants and fluoride treatments to 2nd–6th grade students throughout Polk County during National Children’s Dental Health Month. Preventive care like this helps stop cavities before they start—protecting chewing surfaces where decay most often develops and reducing the need for more extensive dental work later.

If your child did not participate at school, Healthy Connections Dental in Mena and Hot Springs is here to help. We accept Medicaid, ARKids 1st, and are in network with most dental insurance plans. Clinics are open Monday–Thursday, 7:45 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
