We want to thank everyone who came out for the 11th annual Sevier County Health Fair. A lot of work went into making this happen and we couldn't do it without you. We had 237 patients go through the clinic! Thanks to the Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation, Arkansas Minority Health Commission, and Legacy Initiatives for making this possible. Thanks to Travis McKamie and all the volunteers from De Queen First Assembly along with all the volunteers who helped do vitals and draw blood. Thanks to Jen Massey and everyone who donated towards door prizes. This was truly a community effort and a LOT of people received free labs who otherwise might not have been able to.

It is going to be a hot one the next two days! Stay hydrated and know what to look for if getting too hot.

Heat Exhaustion occurs when the body starts losing the ability to cool itself. If heat exhaustion is not treated properly it can lead to heat stroke.

Heat stroke is a serious condition that can lead to death.

Be heat aware this week. Stay Hydrated and know when to stop working and get out of the sun!
