WAY TO GO DCRNC!!

DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center was recently recognized as one of the TOP 25 nursing homes in the state of Illinois!

We already feel top notch, but it is good to know others do too! This would not be possible with out the continued hard work and dedication of the staff here. Thank you for all you do!!

The residents had live music and a pub crawl today! We had 6 taverns total, with lots of volunteers! Residents had several green colored drinks and various pub snacks, with lots of leprechaun laughs! ☘️

Its Fat Tuesday at DCRNC and THIS is how we celebrate!🎉

The staff and residents are enjoying some delicious Gumbo for lunch, with our twist on King Cake. (The staff have cheese cake and choice of topping👀)

Residents also made their own masks this morning! Some staff have outfits for the occasion, and some residents have beads, but everyone has a big smile and full bellies!

We were very excited to host Heritage Woods of DeKalb for a fun game of bags this week! And we enjoyed some root beer floats afterwards.👌

Everyone had fun, if they played or simply watched, there were plenty of laughs to be had! And even ended in a tie!

We look forward to having them back next week for another riveting game.😁
