Plagiocephaly, a misshaped head, and torticollis are two conditions that we see often when working with pediatric patients. Through chiropractic care and cranial work, this smiley girl was able to avoid a helmet. From her first scan to her third scan 6 weeks later, it showed she’s no longer a candidate for a helmet.

It was such a pleasure to see her enjoy each visit and show visible relief of her tension after each visit and to hear that she is no longer a candidate for a helmet.

None of this would have been possible if it weren’t for her mom seeking out another option, someone referring her to us, her mom putting in the hard work to do the home care, and her mom trusting in the care we provide.

For those who aren’t familiar with Craniosacral Therapy (CST), it is a gentle, hands-on therapy that focuses on the body’s craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. It aims to release restrictions in this system by using light touch to facilitate healing and restore balance.🌱

Craniosacral therapy targets the craniosacral system, specifically the membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.🧠

The therapy focuses on the subtle, rhythmic movements within the craniosacral system, which are believed to be driven by the movement of cerebrospinal fluid.💧

Practitioners use a very light touch, often no more than the weight of a nickel, to assess and work with the craniosacral system.💆🏻‍♀️

The goal is to identify and release restrictions in the craniosacral system that may be affecting the function of the central nervous system and other body systems.⚡️

By facilitating the movement of cerebrospinal fluid and releasing restrictions, craniosacral therapy aims to improve the functioning of the central nervous system and other body systems.
