Sometimes we walk into a room and forget why we went there. People immediately worry they are losing it or getting old, but that is not necessarily true. There is a real phenomenon that happens in the brain when we go from one room to another. Your brain thinks, “I handled everything I needed to do in that room. Now I am in a new space with a new task,” and it clears the slate.

If you turn around and walk back through that same doorway within a few seconds, maybe a minute, you often remember what you were doing. I even had the study on this saved somewhere, but I cannot remember where I put it. I guess I need to go back through a few rooms myself.

If you are worried about memory or brain function, give us a call. Acupuncture has wonderful benefits for this. We also have homeopathic medicines for brain support, focus, and recall. Aroma Freedom Technique can help. Essential oils can help. And all those vitamins and supplements you see advertised for brain health? We have been using products like that for over 20 years, and we know which ones actually work.

Supporting Adrenal Health the Right Way — ADB5-Plus™ by Biotics Research

Stress is not just mental. It affects the entire body, especially the adrenal glands, which play a central role in supporting energy balance, metabolic function, and a healthy stress response.

ADB5-Plus™ by Biotics Research is a carefully formulated nutritional supplement designed to support healthy adrenal gland function. It contains a blend of targeted vitamins (including vitamin C and B vitamins), key minerals, amino acids, and glandular extracts intended to nutritionally support the body’s natural stress response systems.

At our clinic, we look at the body as an integrated system. Acupuncture helps regulate the nervous system and restore balance, and in some cases, professional-grade nutritional support may be recommended alongside care to help support overall wellness.

Why quality matters:

Not all supplements are created equal. Ingredient sourcing, purity, bioavailability, and manufacturing standards make a significant difference in effectiveness. Biotics Research is known for rigorous quality control, advanced laboratory testing, and clean formulations without unnecessary fillers. Their commitment to research-driven nutrition aligns with our clinic’s standards for professional care.

If this is a supplement you feel may fit well into your wellness routine, message me here or call the office at 386-734-4126 so we can help determine whether it belongs in your personalized plan and get you moving forward on your path toward better health.

Remember during Covid how we were wiping every single thing we touched, and we’ve sort of gotten out of that habit, haven’t we?

I had a patient who had his car serviced twice in the past few months, and after each time, he got sick. I am not criticizing car service people because this can happen anywhere, but think about it: someone has been inside your car touching the steering wheel. If they are sick and you immediately get back in, touch the wheel, and then your face, two days later you are sick.

So how about we keep a jar of wipes in the car and wipe down the steering wheel? It can happen just as easily after you use a grocery cart and then get into your car.

Let’s just be a little more careful this time of year. And remember, acupuncture can help you See less

Weekends have a different pace.

Sometimes they’re full of errands and catching up. Sometimes they’re quiet. Either way, your body finally has a moment to exhale.

Acupuncture is not just for when something hurts. It is a way to support balance before small things become big things. It helps circulation, supports the nervous system, and encourages your body to regulate the way it was designed to.

Many patients tell us they sleep better, feel calmer, and notice fewer aches when they stay consistent with care. Saturday is a good reminder to check in with yourself.

How are you really feeling?

If your body has been whispering for support, we’re here when you’re ready. Let’s get you on the schedule for next week and help you move forward feeling steady and well.

After an illness, certain symptoms can linger. A cough that will not quite go away. Chest tightness. Shallow breathing.

In Asian Medicine, the lungs are closely connected to immune function and overall vitality. Acupuncture can support respiratory health, improve circulation to the chest, and calm the nervous system, which plays a major role in breathing patterns.

If you are still not feeling fully recovered, we can help support your healing process. Call the office at 3867344126 to schedule.
