Meet Johnathan!

We’re excited to introduce Johnathan, a Senior at Lead-Deadwood High School who is completing an internship with us through Project Skills here at Deadwood Eyecare!

After graduation, Johnathan plans to attend college to pursue a degree in Computer Science. During his time with us, he’s gaining hands-on experience learning the ins and outs of a medical office.

Johnathan has spent time with our Insurance Specialist, Jeanine, to learn more about the administrative side of eye care. He is HIPAA certified and has been exploring our high-tech diagnostic instruments, including training on the Optomap retinal camera. Johnathan understands the importance of this advanced technology as a key tool for screening overall health and detecting eye conditions early.

Johnathan has already learned so much about ocular health, and we’re thrilled to have him as part of the Deadwood Eyecare team during his internship!
