Proud to have had the opportunity to moderate a panel discussion at the annual Black Women in Michigan Politics event today! Thank you Senator Santana for entrusting me!
Themes included "Access to Healthcare in Communities of Color" and "Medical Residency & its impact on Communities of Color" The panel of black female doctors were well informed, engaged, authentic, and passionate about the work that they do! For those who are interested, I highly recommend learning about the 340B Drug Pricing Program, its intended purpose, and its impact on communities of color.
