In 1967, this photo won Best Picture of the Year.
Two workers were on top of a massive transformer when a 4,000-volt shock struck Champion, stopping his heart. His safety belt kept him from falling.

His friend Simpson, climbing right behind him, rushed over without fear. He gave him mouth-to-mouth until he felt a faint pulse. Then he carried him down, where the team continued CPR. Champion survived after intensive care.

This isn’t just a story about electricity—it’s about friendship.
