How do you promote longer & better sleep?
Make sure your baby is full - sometimes our children get preoccupied during play time or they have good eating days & bad ones. We as parents can help by making sure they get well-rounded nutrition.
Soothing activities before bed - this happens one hour before bedtime, warm bath, massaging them, promoting a relaxing environment, reading stories, stretching them, reading a story helps.
Limit screen time - screen time interferes with your child's abilities to fall and stay asleep.
Stick to a bedtime routine - consistency is 🔑 key.
Limit sugar intake - even natural sugars can give them a boost of energy.
Facilitate emotional security - connect with them, give affection, words of affirmation, respond to cues, meet their needs, and be responsive.
