When you're outside, pay attention to your surroundings.
👀 Watch people and their behaviors.
📵 Don't be distracted by phone screens.
🎧 Keep one earbud out if listening to music, and don't get too lost in the moment.
🗽 Note landmarks of places and things.
🧔👩🏽‍🦰 Also, take note of people's faces and clothing around you.

This all allows you to be ready to react to situations before its too late! Even better, it helps in HOW to react afterwards.
