The Michigan Pharmacists Association's 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗹 is a biennial event that provides an opportunity for pharmacists and student pharmacists to educate legislators on their value as health care professionals.

Volunteers are given unique one-on-one time with Michigan’s elected officials to provide wellness demonstrations, including blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose monitoring, immunizations, emergency preparedness and healthy lifestyle practices.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Kelli Sneed and Shams Shibley from AAPARx had the pleasure of visiting AAPA’s own Hashim Zaibak this week at one of his many locations, Fitzgerald Pharmacy, located in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.

Originally opened in 1954, Fitzgerald Pharmacy has a rich history as a beloved community staple. Hashim has done an incredible job preserving the iconic charm of the pharmacy while expanding its role as a hub for health and wellness.
