We took it to the streets of downtown West Dearborn 💙🌱

In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, we asked the community to share their raw, unfiltered thoughts on autism.

Off camera, we had the chance to have real conversations, explain what autism is — a different way of seeing and experiencing the world and share how we support children at Roots through natural environment, play-based learning.

Because awareness starts the conversation… but acceptance starts with understanding.

Nawah, we are so excited to recognize you this month.

Your impact is felt across the entire center every single day. You truly do it all, from giving breaks, stepping into sessions, supporting with materials, to helping with all of the small details that keep our days running smoothly.

Your support allows the center to function seamlessly, and your reliability and initiative do not go unnoticed. Beyond that, it is so clear how much you genuinely care about the kids. The kindness and attention you bring to each interaction help create a positive and supportive environment for everyone.

We would truly be lost without you. You contribute so much to the flow of the center, and we are incredibly grateful to have you on our team.
