🎄 HOW TO FIND THE MINION HOUSE — READ THIS FIRST! 🎄
We get lots of messages asking “Where are you located?”
Yes — the address is on the page.
Yes — it’s in Google Maps.
Yes — it’s in the FAQs and the Messenger Autobot.
And yes… some folks still end up in Wetumpka or on a dirt road arguing with their GPS.
So here it is — the official, Minion-approved guide to finding us!
📍 OUR ADDRESS
800 AL-111, Deatsville, AL
(Locals call it “Highway 111”)
Located at the corner of Autauga County Road 129 — that’s Autauga County, not Elmore.
If your GPS says:
Wetumpka → You’re 20 miles too far east. Turn around.
Bridge St (thanks, Apple Maps) → Nope. Wrong.
A lonely dirt road west of Prattville → There is no Christmas magic there.
If you end up at our old house… sorry, no Minions, no lights — just sadness.

🛣️ Directions From Major Cities
➡ From Prattville
I-65 North to Exit 186 (Pine Level)
Go north on Hwy 31 for 3 miles
Turn right at the red light onto Autauga County 40
Go 2 miles
Turn left onto County Road 85
Follow until it dead-ends into AL-143
Turn left, go 1 mile
Turn right onto AL-111
We’re ½ mile down on the left at County Road 129.
➡ From Wetumpka
Get onto AL-111 heading toward Holtville.
Pass The Boy’s Store → Keep going
Pass the High School → Keep going
Pass Shoal Creek Church → Keep going
If you reach the blinking stoplight at AL-143 → You passed us. U-turn!
➡ From Montgomery
Get yourself to Prattville or Wetumpka and use the instructions above.
(Seriously, it’s easier.)
➡ From Clanton
Head south on Hwy 31 to AL-143.
Go south on AL-143 to AL-111.
Turn left and go ½ mile.
Optional: bring peaches.
🏡 SITE RULES
THE DO’S
Do have fun, dance, and enjoy the show!
Do stay 30 minutes or longer — plenty to see.
Do be courteous and obey traffic laws.
Do pull completely off the paved road & use hazards.
Do watch for fire ants (we fight them daily, but they fight back).
Do watch for dips and holes near the fence line — utilities left a few surprises.
Do donate or sponsor if you can — it truly keeps this show running.
THE DON’TS (VERY IMPORTANT — PLEASE!)
Don’t cross display ropes — 7 miles of wiring + spikes = danger.
Don’t stop in the middle of the road.
Don’t turn onto the dirt road — unless you like 12-mile regrets.
DON’T turn around in neighbors’ driveways.
Use AL-111/AL-143 or AL-111/Ruffin Rd (½ mile either direction).
Don’t spin tires — it tears up the roadside we all need.
Don’t yell, curse, or act villainous — lots of kids and sensitive Minion ears.
Don’t be an Evil Villain. You will be asked to leave.

Plan accordingly — we’re a bit out in the country.
