A study was released 17 years ago titled “The Rising Prevalence of Chronic Low Back Pain.” This study found that more than 80% of adults aged 21+ have experienced low back pain in their lifetime. Low back pain is also the 2nd most common cause of disability in America.

As a chiropractor, I’ve treated many patients who have experienced back pain for months to even years not knowing the healing power of chiropractic.

And the crazy thing is, chiropractic is a lot more simple than people think. It’s all about helping the body heal itself. The only way your body will heal the back pain on its own is if there is no interference. This includes misaligned joints, pinched nerves, unbalanced muscles, etc.

One thing my patients say after their first visit is this… “I wish I would’ve come sooner.”

Thomas Edison had the right idea about health care over 100 years ago. Sadly, we live in culture that’s over-medicated, malnourished, overweight, poisoned, and inactive.

As a chiropractor, I do not prescribe medicine. Rather, I treat the spine which houses the most important organ in our body… the nervous system.

Most people think chiropractic is a pain management profession. That’s only one piece of a much bigger puzzle. The nerves in our spine control every muscle and organ in our body. If the spine isn’t moving properly, it can put pressure on these nerves causing a long list of symptom’s.
