Lifestyle Changes for Fibroid Support
Simple lifestyle shifts can make a big difference in managing fibroids and boosting your fertility:
Stress Management: High stress levels can contribute to hormonal imbalance. Try yoga, meditation, or breathing exercises to reduce stress.
Reduce Estrogen Exposure: Minimize exposure to xenoestrogens (found in plastics, pesticides, and some cosmetics) as they can stimulate fibroid growth.
Hydration: Staying hydrated supports the body’s natural detoxification process, which is essential for maintaining hormonal balance and reducing fibroids.

Understanding Uterine Fibroids
Fibroids are noncancerous growths in the uterus that can affect fertility. Understanding the different types can help you take the best steps for your health and fertility journey.
Subserosal Fibroids: These grow on the outer surface of the uterus and generally don’t impact fertility as much but can still cause discomfort and other symptoms.

My name is Reid Forrester and to tell the truth: I’m blessed to do what I love: serving those in need with gift, skill, excitement, and compassion that has been fostered within over a lifetime. 20 years ago I started down this path as a bodyworker, yogi, and holistic care advocate. It all started with a birth that I was present for at the age of 27 which in many ways was just as transformational for me as it was for my loving friend who was actually gave birth. There’s no way to describe witnessing the intimacy of that moment: the connection between mom and dad, that baby’s first breath... and the Pure Love that was so very palpable in the room.
It couldn’t help but ignite a longing within to become a wife and a mother... to serve in that very deep and mindful way.
As it turned out that path wasn’t quite the straight line I had hoped it would be... but luckily in the meantime I finally found my chosen carreer path and went to school, where I studied massage and was introduced to yoga for the first time.
As I traveled down that path I found myself really loving being able provide stress and pain relief for folk. I especially fell in love with working with pregnant women during the difficult last few months of pregnancy and consumed everything I could get my hands on to better serve.
Then I added Maya Abdominal Therapy to my skillset and found more and more women banging down my door to receive the work- not to help them have better birth (as was my intention initially in doing the training) but to help them concieve. Quite frankly, at first I was intimidated since most of my training, mindset, and experience was with clients (pregnant or not) manage their pain and stress. I knew NOTHING about fertility.
But I knew I had the skills at the very least and offered these overwhelmed women the best I could, learning all about the Western medical model and women’s holistic fertility along the way. It wasn’t long before I fell in Love with my fertility clients... and since this was a popular so woefully underserved I again studied everything I could get my hands on to be of best service. And although I hadn’t had the same challenges we did share the same longing to become moms (which after 10 long years of waiting to find the right partner that dream came true for me at the ripe young age of 37).
Since then I’ve worked hard to take continue to serve and take care of clients and family... for which I’m so very grateful for. It’s a wonderful life and I hope to in whatever small way I can help to facilitate others by alleviated their stress and pain and giving them a sense of hope and empowerment to help their own dreams coming true.
Thank you for reading and I look forward to meeting you soon!
