When it's Cinco de Mayo, Taco Tuesday, AND Teacher Appreciation Week, we of course have to celebrate with a taco and nacho bar for our team! We hope you got to celebrate, too!

The support from the community in the City Of Decatur has been incredible. Thank you Decatur Illinois - City Government! We look forward to serving local children for many years to come.

We are kicking off Teacher Appreciation Week with a BANG!! We were thrilled to surprise our staff with massages to show our appreciation for all they do for our kiddos! 💆‍♀️ We truly have THE best team! They are always going above and beyond to take care of everyone else, so it was wonderful to return the favor and take care of them! 🤩

If not, stop in during our Ribbon Cutting event for Autism Acceptance Month with the Decatur Regional Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday at noon! Hear about our amazing staff and all the ways we are improving the lives for each child in our care. 🌈❤️♾️

How CUTE is this little dude!? He was SO brave, he even got a cool design ⚡️ added in during our Autism Friendly Haircut Event. We could tell he was SO proud of himself and loved how it turned out! 🤩

Moments like this remind us of the importance of supporting small, local businesses in the community. Fadez & Bladez Barbershop , Just Ask James The Barber , and Chance The Barb3r along with the team at A Path Forward showed up for their community in big ways. 🌟

That look you get when it’s your 12th birthday and also your FIRST professional haircut! 🤩

For so much of the autism community, haircuts happen at home because doing so out in the community can be too overwhelming. But this mama was able to put the scissors down and watch the joy and pride on her son’s face when he saw the end results.

Thank you again Fadez & Bladez Barbershop, Just Ask James The Barber, and for showing up for Autism Awareness Month and the team at A Path Forward for helping make this dream a reality!

Wow, what an event! We cannot begin to tell you how full our hearts are after yesterday’s Autism Friendly Haircut Event. This team of barbers SHOWED UP for their community. They were patient and gentle and still managed to get amazing cuts for these kids! They were so generous with their time. We can’t tell you how many times we heard “is this really free!?”. 😍

Thank you to the crew at A Path Forward for being child whisperers, helping these kiddos feel comfortable, and changing lives for autistic children every day.

Thank you to these kids who were SO brave and did very hard things. There were a few tears, but there were even more wins! 💪

Thank you to Decatur for supporting our Autism Community, sharing this event, sharing resources, and making this such a success!
