We took a Bucket List trip last summer to Banff in Canada. One of the places we visited had pots of Poppies positioned all along a beautiful glacier fed lake. The delicate blossoms are so paper thin! Our main field of poppies is a mix of single and double pastels while our hillside is a mix of all poppy colors and sizes. Who else is excited to for Poppy Festival

Did you know we have a new Air B&B with a view of our tulip fields from the quaint little front porch? That’s right! You can stay a night or a weekend and enjoy strolling through the tulips as many times as you want. Photos of tulips in early morning light with frost or dew. Such peaceful surroundings for a getaway!

POPPIES! In December we ordered over 13 million poppy seeds and started planning for this spectacular field of flowers. We planted a little over 3 acres! You may see some green plants growing among our tulips this year but they won’t bloom until sometime in May/June. Every row in the tulip field and the field beyond the tulips, all the way to the top hillside is planted with Poppies and Larkspur! I planted most of these with a salt shaker because the seeds are so tiny. The last photo is a stock photo of some of the varieties we planted!Who else is excited for Poppy Festival 2026?!!!
