We are looking for an outgoing individual to join our team. Willingness to work as a team is a must! You able and willing to cross-train in other aspects of the office . The perfect candidate will demonstrate an ambitious attitude towards their work and helping others in the team without being asked. Candidate must also be able to maintain a balance between their work/personal life.
As a medical assistant you will be responsible for:
Assisting the provider with exams
Insurance procedure Pre-certification Knowledge is a plus
Prepare patient for exams, take vital signs
Call in patient prescriptions and refills as directed by medical providers.
Complete insurance prior authorization for medication needs.
Perform routine screening tests and in office lab procedures
EKGs, , Holter Monitors
Fill out appropriate chart-work prior to each patient visit
Obtaining patient notes from other portals/providers
Maintain compliance with required reporting; HIPAA and Office standards
Assist with front office duties: checking patients in & out, collecting co-pays, answering phones, scheduling appointments, new patient intake, etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned

Candidates’ qualifications should include:
EClinical Works experience is a plus
Communication with the team is necessary
Detail oriented and multi-tasker
Prior CMA experience in a cardiac setting a plus
Insurance knowledge in Pre-Certifications and Pre-Authorizations
Front Desk experience is preferred
Pay is negotiable depending on experience. up to $16.00
Office Hours:
Monday thru Thursday 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM
Friday 8:00 AM till 12:00
