It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Sunshine Mental Wellness will be closing. Caring for this community over the last 6 years has been one of my life's greatest honors. I thank you for trusting me and allowing me into your lives. I know that God has a new and wonderful plan for Matt and I. We will take what you have poured into our lives over the years with us, and we hope that you are able to do the same. Want help understanding your emotions or are you struggling? We’re offering therapeutic programs to help autistic teens and young adults.

-We are testing two mental health therapies for autistic teens and young adults who want to strengthen their emotion regulation skills.
-16-20 weekly therapy sessions in-person or telehealth with providers from our partnering community mental health clinics.
-Payment offered for completing surveys and interviews.

Due to continued declining insurance reimbursements and the economic downturn, Sunshine Mental Wellness will no longer be able to provide therapy services. Ms Graham will continue to see her patients for medication management and take new ones as spots become available. We will do our best to keep an up to date waiting list. Our amazing therapist are going to go do fantastic things. Thank you for supporting our business. I am sorry that it has come to this. Small practices are at the mercy of insurance companies who pay when, where, and how much they want to. We are honored to continue to serve the community in the best way we can.

WE ARE EXPANDING OUR TELEHEALTH SERVICES!

Sunshine Mental Wellness is now providing both psychiatric medication management and therapy services via telehealth for Alabama residents. We are currently accepting Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicaid, Medicare, United Health Care, and Tricare.

INITIAL VISIT MUST BE IN PERSON. PLEASE CALL 256-822-2002 TO SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
