💚🌼To kick off Nurse's Week, we had the honor of celebrating a woman who has given her heart and soul to nursing and to this community for decades - Roz Qualls, RN, recipient of the 2026 DAISY Lifetime Achievement Award at DMH.

Colleagues, community leaders and Roz's friends and family gathered to celebrate a career beautifully and purposefully lived. Words of tribute were shared by Bryan Vest, RN, Service Line Director of Inpatient Nursing, Paul Davis, RN, VP and Chief Nursing Officer and Kelli Powers, President of Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Multiple generations of Labor & Delivery nurses - those who trained under Roz, those who have worked alongside her for years and those who continue to carry forward the standard of excellence she set - all gathered in her honor.

Roz, your legacy is written in every patient you have cared for, every nurse you have mentored, and every life you have touched. Thank you for making Decatur Morgan Hospital - and our entire community - Better Than Ever.💚🌼

What an exciting celebration of Older Americans Month!
We were honored to be part of the annual Hawaiian Luau hosted by the North Central Alabama Regional Council of Governments at the Ingalls Harbor Pavilion and Event Center.

Decatur Morgan Hospital team members were grateful for the opportunity to participate, connect with the community and celebrate alongside so many amazing seniors. 💙

Packed full of free fun, Doodle Bug Vol. 6 is all about birds and flight! 🦅🦆🐦🐥 This new edition is now available in the Museum Store! It has lots of ways to continue the fun and learning at home and online after your visit to the Museum. There is an easy-to-do snack as well as a craft, online jigsaw puzzles, a sing-a-long video, behind-the-scenes information, and more!

* The Main Campus Cafeteria remains open until 9:30 am for Breakfast. The Grill closes at 9:00 am. Queso/Chips/Jalapenos available daily at the Main Campus Grill.

Parkway Campus
Hours: Monday – Friday
6:30 am – 9:00 am (Breakfast)
11:00 am – 1:00 pm (Lunch)

Coffee shops and cafeterias along with 24-hour vending areas are located on the ground floor of both the Decatur Main and Parkway campuses.
