Celebrated the Duke Class of ‘96 30th Reunion with awesome friends ….though my detour added a year. Even with a vision at age 12, major depression took me out the game. I withdrew Fall sophomore year, then a Spring medical/mental health leave of absence. But, by God’s grace and faithfulness, I was transformed and not transfixed! Today I use my transcript with college-aged clients as a testimony that delay isn’t necessarily denial. My God-given vision was yet for an appointed time! And I’m grateful to be here to tell about it🙌🏾🙌🏾
