๐ŸŒโœจ We are proud to commemorate World Homeless Day by reflecting on our participation in the Pathways Forward: A DeKalb County Community Town Hall on Homelessness, which took place this past Saturday, organized by the DeKalb County Behavioral Health Coalition.

At this impactful event, community leaders, county officials, and organizations came together to share insights from their visit to Texas, where they explored successful strategies for supporting those experiencing homelessness. Claratel was honored to help plan this meaningful trip.

During the town hall, attendees received vital updates on the DeKalb County Unhoused Support and Services Plan, spearheaded by the Behavioral Health Coalition. This initiative marks a significant advancement in our communityโ€™s efforts to tackle homelessness. Claratel is proud to play a key role in this coalition.

Participants had the opportunity to engage with a panel featuring esteemed members, including Commissioner Ted Terry from DeKalb County Super District 6, Dr. Alan Ferguson, Sr., DeKalb County Chief of Housing, Joy Monroe from the Single Parent Alliance and Resource Center, Greg White from A Home For Everyone, and Lisa Regan from St. Vincent de Paul Georgia.

We are fully committed to partnering with DeKalb County and our community to expand support for our unhoused neighbors, ensuring that everyone has a place to call home. Together, we can drive positive, lasting change! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ
