• Ability to verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and assist patients with insurance questions

Exciting progress to share! Center updates:

- We will be scanning MRI patients again next week! There are still some appointment times available at the time of this post for next week!

- Our New ultrasound room is almost complete. We are waiting on delivery of our ultrasound table. Look for us to be accepting patients as soon as the first week of February. We will update with an exact start date soon.

- Our X-ray room construction is also under way. We will have a more detailed timeline for the exact launch date of this service soon.

Announcement: Open MRI of Decatur is now doing business as Decatur Diagnostic Imaging. We are expanding our services to include Ultrasound and X-Ray that we intend to start in Early 2026 in addition to our existing Open MRI capabilities. We will be upgrading our MRI as well in 2026 but do not have a set time frame for that install just yet. Our same dedicated team remains committed to providing exceptional care. Open MRI of Decatur has been granted a 3 year term of accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ACR awards accreditation to MRI practices for the achievement of high standards after a voluntary evaluation. The MRI Accreditation Program evaluates qualifications of personnel, equipment performance, effectiveness of quality control measures and quality of clinical images.
