"WE ARE POWERFUL BEYOND MEASURE," according to Nelson Mandela. A Love Counseling Center, LLC believes that with the right exposure, experiences, and knowledge you can create opportunities that allow you to supersede your greatest imagination. How many times have you heard "I don't have a problem, he/she does" or "He/She made me do it?" For years we have believed we don't have a problem, he or she does. What I have found in my years of counseling is that usually we don't understand that we have a problem(s). Many of us have smiled on the outside but lived in dysfunction for so long that the wrong has become right. Come now and let us strive together for higher ground. MISSION

To create healthy persons, families and communities by providing a safe, confidential and professional atmosphere which is conducive to our clients exploring, learning and making adjustments which will allow them to have deeper, richer and more meaningful spiritual, physical and emotional life experiences. It has been 31 years of coupling!

My sister-in-law just sent this, and I do not recall ever seeing it. We have been married for 30 years, y’all! Like a fine wine, Ii just gets better and better.

He didn’t raise his voice. He didn’t argue. He just stood up and said, “You don’t know where I’ve used my voice. You only know where you didn’t hear it.” And that’s when The View—and the internet—went silent.
Denzel Washington came to talk about healing. Instead, he walked into an interrogation. His answer? Grace. Quiet. Conviction. What he said to Sunny Hostin — and how he walked off set without a word of anger — has become one of the most talked-about moments in TV history.
Not because he shouted, but because he refused to. And sometimes, that’s all it takes to expose the truth... https://champ.ly/zYEzXCn2

I was invited to one of my contractors church yesterday. I kept feeling strange. Then I realized there were lots and lots of women. Almost all of them were single. I felt like we were in a fish bowl. I saw people sneaking peaks at us. It dawned on me that they wanted to see how couples in love act. He is very attentive after 30 years, he kisses me every morning when he brings me coffee, he drives me everywhere. He opens all doors. He is easy.

OUR BILLIONS COUNT!!!

Walmart’s decision in November 2024 to scale back its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives has led to notable economic and reputational consequences. This move included ending its DEI programs and winding down the Center for Racial Equity, a nonprofit established to address racial disparities.

The rollback has prompted backlash from various stakeholders. A coalition of over 30 shareholders, representing approximately $266 billion in assets, expressed concern over Walmart’s retreat from its DEI commitments. In a letter to CEO Doug McMillon, they described the reversal as “disheartening” and questioned the absence of a financial or business rationale for the policy change.

Additionally, 13 Democratic state attorneys general urged Walmart to reconsider its decision, emphasizing the importance of DEI policies in fostering an inclusive workplace and serving a diverse customer base.

WHAT DOES YOUR SELF CARE LOOK LIKE?

Self-care is essential for several reasons:

1. **Physical Health**: Regular self-care activities such as exercise, proper nutrition, and adequate sleep help maintain physical health and prevent diseases. Engaging in these activities can boost the immune system, improve cardiovascular health, and enhance overall physical well-being.

2. **Mental Health**: Self-care practices like mindfulness, meditation, and taking breaks can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. These activities help manage mental health by promoting relaxation and emotional stability.

3. **Emotional Well-being**: Taking time for self-care allows individuals to connect with their emotions, reflect on their needs, and cultivate self-compassion. This emotional awareness and regulation are crucial for maintaining healthy relationships and overall happiness.

4. **Productivity**: Regular self-care can improve focus, concentration, and creativity. When individuals take care of themselves, they are better equipped to handle daily tasks and challenges, leading to increased productivity and efficiency.

5. **Prevention of Burnout**: Engaging in self-care helps prevent burnout by ensuring that individuals do not become overwhelmed by stress and responsibilities. Regular breaks and relaxation techniques can restore energy and motivation.

6. **Improved Relationships**: When individuals take care of their own needs, they are in a better position to care for others. Self-care fosters healthier relationships by promoting empathy, patience, and effective communication.

7. **Enhanced Quality of Life**: Overall, self-care contributes to a higher quality of life by promoting balance and well-being. It allows individuals to enjoy life more fully and engage in activities that bring joy and satisfaction.

In essence, self-care is a fundamental aspect of maintaining a healthy, balanced, and fulfilling life.
