📢 Upcoming changes to Operation Uplift - Effective Saturday, March 1, 2025

We are excited to announce important service enhancements to our On-Demand Paratransit Program, Operation Uplift, designed to improve accessibility and streamline service! Key changes:

◾️ Same-Day Booking - Riders can now book trips with just a two-hour notice instead of the current 24-hour advance requirement. Call 217-424-2821 to book.

◾️ Expanded Operating Hours - Service hours will now align with our fixed-route transit schedule of Monday thru Friday 5:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 6:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.

◾️ Wider Service Area - Operation Uplift will now serve the following locations: corporate limits of Decatur, corporate Village limits of Forsyth, corporate Village limits of Mt. Zion.

◾️ Automatic Eligibility Approval - Riders will automatically receive a one-year conditional eligibility for the service. During this period, they must complete the necessary paperwork to maintain eligibility for paratransit service. Those who do not complete the process will be transitioned to our upcoming Microtransit system once launched.

These updates will enhance accessibility, improve convenience, and ensure a smoother transition to the upcoming Microtransit system!

Decatur Psychiatry, LTD office will tentatively open at 11:00 am on Monday January 6, 2025. The opening of the office will depend on road conditions as our office staff lives out of Decatur.

All therapy appointments will be telehealth.

It’s that time of year again when you are facing the confusing decision making process of choosing an insurance plan.

Whether you’re bound to the market place or work place insurance plan, make sure that all of your providers and medications are covered at an AFFORDABLE rate.

Lower monthly premiums are not always a good thing.

Before you make your choice, make sure to call your providers to see if they will be accepting that insurance in the office for that plan year. Make sure to bring your insurance card to the first appointment with the new plan and any other information that the provider’s office requires.

If you would like to reschedule, call 217-809-0429. All appointments with Bill Gillen, PhD this week will be rescheduled. Rene will contact you.

Our building still does not have power. The office will remained closed until the power is restored.

We do understand this is a huge inconvenience and we are working hard to remain patient while Ameren works to restore power.

Happy Wednesday and Happy Winter Solstice!

I just wanted to give an update of office hours for the holidays!

We will be closed 12/23 at noon until 12/27 at 8 am for Christmas. We will also be closed 12/30 at noon until 1/3 at 8 am for New Year’s.

Please make sure to get all of your refill requests in before we close for those long weekends.

Call 217-809-0429 for refill requests for controlled substances and call your pharmacy for refill requests for all non controlled substances. If we do not answer, please leave a message.

Happy Wednesday!

Flu and COVID season is in full swing, and we have noticed a lot of patients and their families are getting sick.

In order to help reduce the spread of viruses, we are requiring all patients, guests, and staff members to wear a mask until April 1, 2023.

If you or someone you live with is experiencing COVID or Flu symptoms, a cough, or fever, we ask that you have a telehealth appointment with your provider instead of an in person appointment.
