Reducing your lower back pain in colder weather! With colder weather comes stiff joints and a great reason to perform routine stretching to improve your mobility. Morning stretches to help improve your low back mobility require no equipment and have great benefits to your body and mind. Cat and cow, knee to chest, pelvic tilts, and lumbar rotations are common exercises we recommend for your morning routine. Check out the attached link to view step by step instructions!

We are a community-based, outpatient, private, orthopedic physical therapy clinic seeking a qualified PT Assistant or PT Aide for 25-30 hours per week to start, with a potential to be a full-time employee once you become familiar with our procedures and protocols.

Our facility is fast-paced and yet provides personalized care to each patient. All candidates MUST have AT LEAST one year of clinical orthopedic PT experience. Candidates must also exhibit knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. You must be detail oriented, able to multitask, possess excellent communication skills, and maintain a positive attitude. Experience in athletic training, exercise science, personal training, and/or massage therapy with patient care exposure would be conducive for this job.

THOUGHTS ABOUT COVID-19 NOW....

Having just read an article in the daily news informing us that after a year of meticulous cleaning of surfaces to protect ourselves from the coronavirus, IN FACT it was never really necessary.
The article stated that it was only a remote possibility (1 in 10,000) that one would become infected by surface contact with the virus. It would take a series of exact circumstances in order for the coronavirus to be transmitted in this manner. Extensive studies show the predominant mechanism is airborne transmission between humans in a direct manner. THIS IS GREAT NEWS!
NOW THEN, WHAT ADJUSTMENTS DO WE MAKE IN OUR DAILY ROUTINE NOW WE KNOW THIS TRUTH?
That is the question as we navigate our way back and RECLAIM OUR LIVES.
A PERSPECTIVE ON THE SUBJECT: FOCUS ON WHAT HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE REAL AND OPTIMIZE YOUR FREEDOM TO LIVE A MORE NORMAL LIFESTYLE WHILE REMAINING SAFE ?
