The school year is ending soon! Time to Register for Camp Hope as we Part-Tee for our 30th Year!
Camp Hope is a one-day camp held annually for school-aged children (5-12) who are grieving the death of a close loved one. It is designed to help children learn to recognize and express their grief in healthy ways. Crafts, discussion, and a variety of activities allow children to explore their grief in a safe and supportive environment.

As the school year comes close to close, Hospice of the Valley wanted to take a moment to recognize and appreciate our HOSA students for their meaningful contributions throughout the year.
These students dedicated their time and compassion to visiting patients and supporting HOTV in countless ways, making a lasting impact on those we serve.
We delivered some goodies for them this week to express our gratitude for each of you and thank you for your support and commitment to our mission.

During National Nurse Week, we are honored to recognize and celebrate our extraordinary nursing staff. Their compassion, dedication, and genuine heart for hospice care are evident in everything they do.
At Hospice of the Valley, exceptional care begins with the hands and hearts of those in the field. Our nurses walk alongside patients and their families every step of the way, consistently going above and beyond to provide comfort, dignity, and support.
Whether a patient is with us for 24 hours, 24 days, 24 months, or longer, the level of care our nurses deliver remains unwavering. Their commitment makes a lasting difference in the lives they touch, and for that, we are deeply grateful. Happy Nurses Week!

Yesterday, we had the joy of celebrating our incredible volunteers with a sweet ice cream social at Tess’ Place in downtown Decatur. It was a small way to say a very big thank you for the compassion, time, and love they pour into our mission every single day. Their kindness touches countless lives, often in the quietest, most meaningful ways. We are so grateful for each of them!

Go see our friends at Tess’ Place and follow their page for hours and events! 🍦
