Hospice of the Valley was honored to host a tailgate luncheon for the staff and residents of Decatur Health and Rehab. Everyone was encouraged to show their team spirit by wearing their favorite colors while our Hospice Educators shared information about our services and what it means to be The Community’s Hospice since 1985.
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve and support our community, and we value the partnerships that allow us to continue making a difference in the lives of others. Special thanks to our wonderful volunteers that helped prep lunch for our team to take and serve.

Our Mission

Hospice of the Valley is a community-based not-for-profit agency that started in 1985 that provides care and support to residents of Morgan, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Cullman, Franklin and Marshall Counties in Alabama, who are facing end-of-life care decisions. We provide Hospice Care for those with life-limiting diseases, and Grief Support Groups for anyone who has suffered a loss through death. Hospice of the Valley prides itself in knowing that we take every measure to provide the best possible care through our professional clinical staff and well-trained volunteers. Exceeding expectations is our standard of care.
