Brenda Gail Flowers

Brenda Gail Wiggins Flowers, age 62, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at her home.

Gail was born May 13, 1963 to the late James "Bunny" and Elizabeth Mae Hearon Wiggins in Decatur, TN.

She worked as a seamstress for 15 years. She was known for her kindness, faith, and love for her Savior Jesus Christ. Her family had her heart; she adored her grandkids. They hung the moon in her eyes and heart. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Her faith was the most important part of her life. She faithfully attended services at New Life Church in Athens, TN. She enjoyed reading her bible and watching church services online after she got sick.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Randall Flowers; brother, Robert "Loyd" Wiggins, infant twin brother and sister, Patrick and Patsy Wiggins; paternal grandmother, Grace Morrison; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Ruby Hearon; brother-in-love, Jake Kile Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Gail Hester; son, Steven (Falon) Smith; grandchildren, Peyton Duckett "Mimi's Love Bug", Braxton Hester "Mimi's Punkin Head", Lane Smith, Keegen Smith, Truett Smith, and Lila Brown Smith; sisters, Leavon Kile, Carolyn (Bobby) Mullins; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

"This is not forever but see you later." She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Jeffrey Haney and Bro. David Latham officiating.
